If you visit Chengdu- A visit to the Chengdu Panda Base is a must!! Over 80 Pandas including around 12 cubs at the date of June 2009. Arrange to go in the morning around feeding time. You can hold have your picture taken with a panda cub for 100 CYN around $140 US. more

Ok its a little cynical but so far not one bred Panda has been placed back in the wild and all the time the " breeding research" goes on, the prime problem, the destruction of the natural habitat goes on and on..
