This is a brand new museum, opened in March 2012, funded by the Fundacion EPM (Empresas Publicas de Medellin), located in the Parque de los Pies Descalzos (Barefoot Park) which is in central Medellin and close to the Metro. It costs about $3.50, you enter with a guide (although i speak Spanish, they had an English speaking guide, the sweet... More

We'd never before heard of an outdoor "foot massage park" and it looked like a great idea. Unfortunately it was raining on the day of our visit and we had to forego the chance to try it out.

I will admit, walking around barefooted in the mini forest and in some rocks might be a little painful at first but when you are done with the mini tour, your feet feel so relaxed! I will def. be going there again as soon as I go back to Medellin.

Bare Foot Park is between Plaza Mayor and the nationally famous Medellin Public Utilities Company (EPM) and offers a place to take of your shoes and watch the local kids run around in the sand and sculptures. Nearby is a sort of modern food court where you can get a Michelada or quick bite of delicious, local food. Not a... More

This place has nothing specials. just picture a business building with a 300x300 sqt with sand in which you must take your shoes and walk barefoot (there are guides around the area that will tell you to take them off). This so called park is in the border of a "strato" (sector) 2, which means that poor people live near... More
