Although the beach at Santa Marta is bustling with locals, vendors and stalls and is interesting for people watching. The actual town of Santa Marta is fairly dull and Parque de Los Novios is nothing special.

Great place to chill out - any time. It has free WiFi so you can even catch up on mail whilst just watching the locals do their thing. In the evening its a magic spot for a drink and soak up the atmosphere.

It is beutiful and its full of restaurants and bars .4 me is the best place to be.

The park is in the town centre near the front. Nothing particularly special.

This is a very charming plaza in the center of Santa Marta. We enjoyed walking around at night and eating at a local restaurant close by called Donde Chucho. It's a good place for a nice dinner or a quick bite. Also some bars there as well. It's small but worth a visit (preferably around dinner).
