One of better things to do in Egypt. Only fault - usually too much people on one snorkeling places. BE AWARE: Even it is forbidden, many Egiptians are feeding the fish, so even there are many beautifull fishes to see, this can take some dangerous species on the surface. One of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. Worth the visit, but make sure you get taken to Mahmaya (not just Giftun Island, or Paradise Beach). more

We went on a boat trip to the Giftun island during our holiday to Hurghada June 2005, the snorkelling was amazing and the island itself was like being in paradise!! the sand was as white and the sea as blue as any carrabean island! more
