Quad biking in the desert was great fun. It's definately worth a try and whilst the sites visited felt a little "put on", its still worth it just for the fun of driving quad bikes out into the desert. The scenery is very different than what you find in Europe and worth a look. Tip though - make sure you... More

Guide was excellent and the tour was great. Even though the 4x4 was bumpy it was fun and well worth it.

This tour has it all.....4x4 racing across the desert, quad biking, spider cars, camel riding, Berber village with evening meal, local dancers and star gazing with a large telescope.....picked up at hotel and left back to hotel all in one piece if somewhat tired. We paid £18 each for the experience and it was worth every penny.

The desert is a fascinating place and the Red Sea mountains put a lot charm to it when on tour. During the day the sun is relentless, but the when sun is on its way under the horizon, the spectacular colours and shades, pluss the quiteness gives it a magical crescendo.

60kph across the dunes to a Bedoin camp! Camel rides and local food as sun sets, followed by stargazing without any light pollution, you can even see the Rings around Saturn!!!

It is worth to spend a half a day there. You are driving the quadracycle over the dessert in a traditional "arafatka", getting to the beduin's village with camels, traditional way of living and having a show with balley dancer and some other traditional entertainments.
