We paid 30 euros a head for a 45 tour of the castle. It's completely restored but it's the only thing, apart from the diving, to do / see in Taba. You get a short ride to the island in the deal. You can climb on the ramparts but there are no rails, big drops, so people with small kids...

Great for children, went in a sumbarine, saw some sea life.was not too long about an hour inside,and on top.A Small but beautiful island and lovely colours of sea.

Not every day you have a chance to stand in one country and to be able to look at 3 other countries. That's how i felt when i visited the Castle for the first time. Israel Jordon and Saudi is few hundred meters away

We went on the Pharaoh’s Island (Salah El Din's Castle) Schooner trip (8.30-4.30ish pick up/drop off at hotels at Taba Heights) with food, drink and snorkelling kit included. Great value trip, engines out and twin masted sail back. Escorted and solo snorkelling and introductory scuba dives if you want. Need to wear uninflated life jacket which was no hardship. Great...
