We reached Horsley Hills after a overnight train journey from Hyderabad to Madanapelle. This train station is only 26 kms from the hill station and convenient. Accomodation provided by AP tourism and is very good with a wide choice of cottages and rooms. Booking in advance would be helpful. The views of the valley provided from the top are spectacular... This suite was decorated quite tastefully and had excellent ambiance. It was big enough to accommodate all the eight of us. It costed 6K but was quite huge and proved quite economical... More

We decided to drive up to Horsley Hills from Chennai this Christmas Weekend (24-25 Dec, 2011). We were a group of 4 families (8 adults & 2 kids) and it was one of those trips where we enjoyed ourselves to the hilt. The elevation is a mere 1290 metres above sea level and that made us underestimate the weather at... More

For some time, my family was thinking of going there. Finally we decided to go on 17th May. After initial search from Google, I chose the route: Whitefield-Hoskote-Chintamani-Madanapalle-Horsley Hills. We reached Horsley Hills from Whitefield in just 2 1/2 hours (I was expecting 3.5 to 4 hours). We started at Whitefield at 4 PM and we were there in Horsley... More

We went last weekend . based on some recommendations from friends. . and a lot of blogs reviews online. The place is not too great. The "hill station" starts and ends in a 500 mt radius. Well, to start with, I had to go all the way to AP tourism office , to do hotel booking. the people there -... More

Horsley hills is a beautiful hill station with the extra attractions like trekking, hill climbing and glances of very thick forest. People who like adventures would absolutely love this place. I had an extraordinary experience at this place. There are AP Tourism cottages for the stay and guide facilities along with the guidance for rock climbing. We spent a night... More
