Palolem is an ok beach with zillion of huts hidden in the coconut groves, with a 3km row of feet-in-the-sand restaurants with little to distinguidhed one from another as they're all serving the same fare. Too crowded in season, food too expensive, although shoulder season makes it a nice stop to break away from your Indian holiday/trip.

Nice beach with much few crowd. Has nice restaurants, we had our food at Draupadi restaurant overlooking the beach. Awesome north indian food. But don't take trips to the so called honeymoon beach or butterfly beach.. it's a waste of time .. Palolem beach has a nice shopping strip selling fancy tshirts and apparels.

The sand is soft, the shacks are plentiful, each offering similar food - a mix of continental and some traditional dishes. Enough choices to eat - I would still recommend Cuba.
