We moved to Palolem after being a bit disappointed with Colva beach and what a great move it proved to be. This place is absolutely beautiful - coconut trees lining the beach, lovely little rocky headlands and lots of little beaches to find some peace. We were at the end of the season and some guest houses were closed (read... More

If you are going to Goa and not visiting Palolem, your trip is incomplete.. We stayed in Havana Cuba and the location is just mind blowing.. It was right on the beach.. you walk the beach with no shoes and feel the warmth of the sand. We even slept on the sand till late night. This is a place where... More

It is definitely the most beautiful beach Goa. The sea is always calm. There is amazing food there and nice vibes.

There are a lot of Europeans who offer Yoga & Pilates classes and also massage & reiki on Palolem and esp Patnem beach. However, many of them are not certified to teach and are extremely overpriced. For eg. while the going rate for reiki is Rs.500, you will be charged between Rs.1000 -1500. Some of the places such as Harmonic... More

Palolem is an ok beach with zillion of huts hidden in the coconut groves, with a 3km row of feet-in-the-sand restaurants with little to distinguidhed one from another as they're all serving the same fare. Too crowded in season, food too expensive, although shoulder season makes it a nice stop to break away from your Indian holiday/trip.

Nice beach with much few crowd. Has nice restaurants, we had our food at Draupadi restaurant overlooking the beach. Awesome north indian food. But don't take trips to the so called honeymoon beach or butterfly beach.. it's a waste of time .. Palolem beach has a nice shopping strip selling fancy tshirts and apparels.

I have been to palolem beach on 2 occasions and hope to go there again. The people are friendly, food is tasty and the beach life there is fab. Beach life is no way as busy as the south of Thailand for example, it is a smaller community and thankfully not full of trance parties left, right and centre. You... More

wow what a beach!!!...eye opener...goa has such a beauty...around 60 km from the airport this beach is in a little cul-de-sac forming a kind of bay with a small island towards the right. the shacks were simply superb-no cheap frills stuff that u see in north goa in destinations such as vagator/anjuna... i simply fail to understand why people flock... We spent 5 days at Palolem, and did really enjoy our time there, but it is now very developed. This has the advantage of offering a lot of choice of places to eat, drink and shop, but the downside is that it can be very hectic, and there really are too many dogs on the beach. They can be noisy,... More

The sand is soft, the shacks are plentiful, each offering similar food - a mix of continental and some traditional dishes. Enough choices to eat - I would still recommend Cuba. Even if you are with a family you can stay a few night at the beach itself in one of the countless shacks. Accomodation is very basic and also... More
