Lal Bagh might not be up to the botanical standards of Kew Gardens, but it's just about the only place in Bangalore to escape the frantic city life, and it's well worth spending a two or three hours wandering around or just sitting under the fine trees, which are the stars of the park. It's much bigger and better than...

I had huge expectations from Lal Bagh hence was a tad disappointed...There is greenery everywhere and some really interesting trees....but I did not see any flowers and came to know later that there are specific times when roses and other flowers are displayed...the nursery is really good with a variety of plantings...overall it was a good experience.
Great place for walk, just sit quitely and try to listen noise of the silence. geen every where, nice to see gigantic old trees but it is advisable to be careful at this place of the miscreants and be where few people are around you.
i have went many times for lal bagh because i feel fresh air there its nice too se and diffrents types off tress and flowers are there even my family also has wentv there many timesand i wish too for all off them too visit lal bagh and india its nice palace to see and indians are good
This is great place if you love greenery and you love to explore gardens. The lake is good and you would love the walk in excellent Bangalore climate. Go there in evening and enjoy. I liked the fact that this place is maintained properly.
Interesting place. The history of it was cool. but the gardens were nothing great. Pretty quiet and peaceful though. A nice place to get away to. For the cost which is next to nothing, definetly worth it.
