you can spend an afternoon in Lalbagh and have a great time, you don't really need a tourguide. you should however, bring a camera as there are many wonderful images. make sure to visit some of the smaller gardens inside Lalbagh as they can be quite interesting. The "Japanees" garden was my favorite. more

When you are handed your so call guide, get the price up front. Our guy was a good guide but at the at end fell let we have been taken for a ride as he tied for $10 ea.. As cheap as labor is here, you think you could get someone to keep the park clean. So everything we were... more

The sight of the "garden" made me speechless. It was beautiful with an overdose of oxygen and the sight of colorful flowers, huge trees and vegetation. Many of the trees were 100 years old. Since bangalore is a city of over stressed, workohlic, alcohalic proffessionals; this grrenary of this place provides some comfort and calm to its visitors. must visit place, better if u have a friend or family. ;) Good option for weekend visit. more

The place is very Green and calm. If you want to relax go here and enjoy the nature. Take a walk on the palm island. Very refreshing. I could not see enough floers though. Rose Garden was ok. more

The Lalbagh garden of Banglore is a very large botanical garden situiated in mid-city. There are local buses that take us to the location.
