This is the nearest hill station from Trivandrum. Take the Kattakada-Nedumangad-Ponmudi road, it has very good roads compared to the other routes. There is nothing other than the mist to see, but to say the least being buried in the mist is awesome. You will have to go through 22 hair pin bends to reach the hilltop.

One thing! Once passed Trivandrum it was a breeze. We departed Kovalam about 10 but due to getting a bit lost in Trivandrum (trying to avoid it) the route was fairly easy.
