Manage to rent small boat for nominal fee and took 3 hour sighseeing lake and villages by water. It was nice , enchanting experience and even stopped for nice drink - cocounut water.

What a wonderful trip. The trip was one of the highlights of South India. Highly recommended as a day trip from Kochi - those who spent the night on boats told us it was not worth the effort.

Very recommend to do this tour,in spite that you sail just till twilight, and then boat docked for night But we go out and strolled on village,to see people on their each day chores.Very relaxing,with good food. Bedroom with en suite bathroom was small but convenient,AC work from 9PM till 7AM,and was enough for good sleep.
