Not crowded like everything else in India and there are no scammers. Quite India the old way.

Its interesting but maybe not so much as other forts.Good audio guide.Doesnt open until 10am which is a bit annoying.
A good idea is to get a audio guide from reception. Very good value.
We enjoyedv the sweets at the bazzar but later found that we got to know where to buy the best genuine Bikaner sweets to really enjoy the tastes.
It is a nice fort and gives you more then you can expect.
This place has been kept up, and is safe to walk around in. The displays are nice, and they have taken time to make sure that the historical references match the setting. They have a collection of things from the family in good repair, and enough things to read that you do not necessarily need a guide.
The restoration was excellent with good displays and information. The audio guide is worth it.
Of all the forts we visited in Rajasthan this was the most well-maintained. Although it's not on a hill it would be a big mistake to miss the beauty inside.
I have seen half of this fort as this kind of big and touristy forts doesnt fancy me anymore!.
This fort was exquisite! Well worth a visit. Very well decorated and preserved and there was also work in progress which was interesting to see. We got the audio tour and this was very good. The only slight problem being that the numbers were placed in the wrong areas at times. Don't miss it
