Directions to go--- from the Udaipur palace walk straight and come to the temple on the same road (you cant miss it) Then ask for directions to Bagore ki Haveli. It is a straight walk down- you will need to pass through narrow alleys ,... More

Its a quiet place. Has a lovely puppet museum. There is a perfume seller at the entrance. Sells good perfumes and sells it cheap. My suggestion is that you pick up one from here. The place is beautiful. However they are doing some renovations so is dusty.

A great evening (1hr) for 100Rp each (+100Rp per camera). Variety of Indian cultural performances; puppetry, dances, dance/balance etc. Starts around 7pm daily in open courtyard. A pleasant open air eve. Highly Recommended!

The dance performance is Excellent!! One of the best things in my Rajastan trip !!! Highly recommended, costs only 100Rs and 100extra for using camera, which is worth it. I would definetly tip the dancers if i go again, as this is quite usual and believe me they are worth it! Great place, performance and setting!!! Don't miss it !

I enjoyed this much more than the City Palace. Less tourists, more peace. Closer to the real life in an Indian palace. Nice views of the lake, interesting rooms, intimate atmosphere. Great puppet collection to enjoy, if you can get rid of the annoying guard. Dance and puppet shows in the evening.

We did not tour the haveli, but we attended the amazing musical performance in the evening. When we attended in December 2011 it cost 100 Rupees and was 1 hour long. Go early to get a good seat! We were lucky to have been ushered to the side of the stage area in the front row despite arriving a few... More
