Taxi ride from Jimbaran bay to this mall is about 45,000RP. once you get into the building there is a security guard checking your bags. It isn't as big as I thought it will be. We visited the Discovery Mall for many times as it combines variety of shops, nice, cool atmosphere and convenience, and finally you can find everything you're looking for. The biggest department store in Bali. Many stores and restaurants. Grocery store is very small. Select nothing special. But best of Bali is not there. The one department store has a really nice selection of souvenirs on the top floor that caters to tourists. It was actually a nice place to buy gifts.

Discovery mall in Kuta is big shopping centre. I wasn't overly impressed with the prices. Some things are cheaper, but most things are the same as home. It's a little tricky to navigate & ATM's are only in 1 or 2 places. There are a few Balinese clothing & gift shops but mostly brand names! Worth a look maybe.
