Diving and snorkelling is excellent year round on the reefs here and at nearby Menjangan Island or take the tour to Secret Bay for critters. Reef Seen is very active in marine conservation, working with Reef Gardeners and is home of the Turtle Hatchery protecting and releasing wild sea-turtles. Also offers attractive beach-side divers' accommodation. « less

As Bali tends to become oversophisticated, the real Balinese atmosphere at a decent price is more and more hard to find. Accommodation in Pemuteran is a good example: for a little bit more of comfort, you pay an awful lot of money extra. And what more does one need than a clean large room with airco and wooden furniture, hot... More

I am so glad I chose Reef Seen for both accommodation and diving. The staff are happy and friendly. The location is beautiful right on the beach. The Dive instructors Amanda and Adrian are very experienced and super helpful. I tried a scuba discovery with Amanda and loved it so much I did the Padi course with her! Their dive... More

We stumbled across Reef Seen almost by accident after arriving in Pemuteran. We were staying at Suki Sari across the road and asked for directions to a reputable place where we could hire snorkels; Reef Seen were the top of their list. A 20 year established hotel and diving agent, they are also instrumental in the conservation of the reefs... More

We traveled up to Pemuteran for 2 days to do some diving and couldn't be more pleased with our experience with Reef Seen. The hotel we stayed at offered diving for the same price as Reef Seen, but we chose to go with Reef Seen because of the personalized diving experience and because we wanted our money to go to... A great way to kill a few hours. And not everyday you get to touch a turtle!

Chris who is the owner of Reef Seen is a passionate Aussie who has called Pemuteran his home - where he has educated the whole local community on the plight of endangered turtles in Bali. He always has time to share his passion with you and is doing an amazing things for both the turtles and the locals.

Of all the diving resorts i've been with this has been the worst. The man who met us in the hotel reception was arrogant and missing entusiasm, i asked what spot he felt was the best, since i weren't planning on checking out them all. Only answer i got was that they were all the same; they had fish and... More

Thank you for taking the time to review Reef Seen Diver's Resort. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay but disappointed that your diving experience wasn't what you hoped for. Our local dive guides are extremely knowledgeable about the reefs in this area and get real pleasure from showing our guests their underwater world. They deal with a multitude of... More

A quick visit to the turtles at Reef Seen is definitely worthwhile if you are in Pemuteran. The project seems to be really well run, with an emphasis on education of the local fishermen (hopefully that will include education about the impact of plastic bags on turtle populations in the near future). 5pm is feeding time and the kids are... This project buys turtle eggs, hatches them and then asks for tourists to sponsor the release of the young turtles when their chances of survival are higher. For a small fee you can carry the young turtle to the ocean and watch it swim away. Any baby turtles remaining after a few months are released by local school children. Older... More
