I read the tripadvisor reviews or never would have noticed this beautiful temple behind Starbucks. Very quiet with few visitors. Really nice!
A lovely example of a traditional Balinese temple conveniently located in the centre of town (behind Starbucks!)
This looks like an old bungalow converted in to stay. Lovely sculptures. Small clean rooms. Before you check in ensure they air your room. The breakfast is nothing great but filling. compared to couple of other places we saw around the same area this was pretty decent
The Pura Saraswati Temple and Lotus Pond were beautiful and I'm definitely glad my husband and I went in. To enter the temple, we had to wear a sarong, and for a donation at the entrance we were provided the appropriate attire. The structures, statues and carvings of the temple were stunning. Visiting this site did not take long -... More
Of all places to find a tacky coffee shop in such a beautiful location. We found this place by accident while just cruising around Ubud. Well maintained and tidy and a pleasure for the camera lovers. A lot of people were in attendance on the day of our visit and I know why. Such a serene place and well worth... More

Pura Saraswati is an absolutely gorgeous Balinese temple located on a beautiful lotus pond. It was challenging to find among the bustling streets of Ubud, especially because it's tucked behind a Starbucks and Cafe Lotus, and not immediately visible! But once we found it, we were SO happy we did. We explored the temple, and then had a light dinner... More
Other than being marred by a Starbucks (of all things) at the entrance, this is the most beautiful temple complex in Ubud and by far the best venue to appreciate a cultural performance (sometimes they practice by the pond in the afternoon) as the backdrop is lit up at night. You can also go to the Starbucks (ugh!) and sit... More
