The work BAWA is doing for Bali dogs is awesome. They have made the lives of many hundreds of dogs better and through their sterilization program there are now far fewer hungry Bali dogs.

Great place if you love animals!! Volunteer time as well as donating if you can, they really need the help. They are situated near Ubud and do an amazing job with little resources. Anything you can give is greatly appreciated. Even if that only means taking the time to pat their animals :-))

Janice Garadi has done some amazing work with the dog population in Bali. Not only has she worked tirelessly to rescue homeless dogs, feed strays, spay and neuter street dogs as well as treating sick and injured dogs, she has been very instrumental in a rabies vaccination program to here rid Bali of a serious Rabies epidemic which struck in... Thank you, thank you, thank you for the wonderful work being done to help the stray animals in Bali. I cannot believe the difference between my first trip in 2005 when there were so many destitute and mangy dogs on the streets and my 11th trip in 2012. Well done. Please donate whatever you can to help this worthy cause.

I visited BAWA to donate towels and bedding for the dogs and cats of Bali. BAWA is a wonderful association that is helping the health of stray animals in Bali. If you are coming to Bali and have some spare room in the suitcase - tuck in some towels to donate and drop them off whilst in Ubud.

Every single one of these volunteers are angels in disguise for these beautiful animals. It was heartbreaking to see the poor condition of the dogs due to neglect, abuse and disease but so heart warming to know that the ones tht end up there are now safe and cared for. If you do stop in please take donations, every little... More

Were are dog lovers and always inspired by the good people do. These animal lovers go the extra mile to vaccinate dogs, and give them a better life. Mia the mascotte is too sweet!!

I stopped by to ask if there was anything I could do a few hours after seeing all the wandering, homeless dogs in Bali. While I couldn't do a lot, I did play with the dogs for about an hour or so. Dogs have such warm hearts and when you help them, they help you back even more. The staff... More

It is always very heartwarming to see there are some people who care and actually do something about the plight of the numerous stray animals in Ubud and Bali. This is a place that restores faith in human beings after seeing so many neglected stray dogs and cats having to fend for themselves, suffering from terrible diseases and injuries while... More
