Leader Sue was very, very knowledgeable, and very friendly. We walked through the rice fields learning not just about birds (we saw about 25 species), but about medicinal and edible plants, the people of the island, butterflies (about 20 species), snakes and lizards, and other fun facts.
We had a fabulous morning spotting birds with Su. Her knowledge and passion about not only birds, but all animals and farming was fantastic. The tour finished with a well deserved lunch at Murni's warung, which was a great end to an enjoyable morning.
