I had a really great massage and a facial here. The outside setting is lovely and the large premises means you don't really see anyone else. I would thoroughly recommend it for such a good price and a good service.

During my first day in Ubud, I opted for a massage following over 20 hours of flying. Nur Salon on Jl. Hanoman was the perfect choice. This was my first outdoor massage, and it was simply wonderful. My masseur was Kadek, and I chose the traditional seaweed massage that included a complete body massage, a body scrub, a rub with... More

We had visited Nur Salon 4-5 years ago and loved it, but this time we weren't as satisfied. We also tried Sang Spa and liked it better for these reasons: At Sang Spa they rolled up a towel to put under your ankles when they were face down, I found that more comfortable than at Nur Salon where they didn't... I visited this spa twice duirng my recent trip to Ubud. Both visits were very good, professional and left me feeling wonderfully relaxed. Some reviews have said it is looking a little tired etc.. this is possibly a fair comment but considering the "rooms" are outside and exposed to the heat and humidity they are never goingto be in pristine... On Honoman Road, this wonderfully old style outdoors spa is a great stop. We did the 90 mins lulur boby scrub and yogurt rub - lovely, clean and orderly.

The NUR Salon was a recommendation in our guidebook. We tried two other salons before which were also quite fine. The NUR Salon was triple the price - and the impact was increased a hundredfold. The guy's name is Made. He seems to be the only one who is performing this massage. He is working at the NUR Spa for... More

It was a bit confronting initially to strip naked but once I got over that, it was the most relaxing massage I've had. I went back 3 times. Great friendly staff, safe, clean.

I tend to agree in parts with janjoh that the rubber cover on the massage table was a bit grubby on some parts along the edge (well it is humid in Ubud!!!)......but.......as I lay in my flower scented bath after my wonderful papaya massage and body scrub, the masseur came back in and changed the towel for the head rest,... Although the actual massage was very good and the people friendly I felt let down by the cleanliness of the place. For example I was offered the use of the toilet before my massage and the bowl had been soiled by the previous user and had not been cleaned. The plastic cover on the massage table was very grubby around... More
