The traditional Bedouin market that everyone is searching for in Beersheba is like Brigadoon.... it's a mythical place that just doesn't exist. While there was a thriving Bedouin market in the past - or so say Israelis whom I have spoken to - the fact of the matter is that today there isn't anything traditional about what you find here....

The Bedouin Market in Be'er Sheva (spelling of city varies!) was quite a disappointment. It was not that easy to find as the signs appeared and disappeared.
