Well worth visiting and suitable for all ages. Informative for all ages and the staff were all excellent with the children who were in the group - letting them feed the sheep and be involved in whatever they could
The gift shop was very good also and the prices reasonable.
The only negative comment I could make is that it...

Rather than just reading about the history of Israel or seeing pictures, Nazareth Village shows you what it was like back in the time of the Bible and lets you experience it yourself. A tour guide takes you through a indoor presentation followed by an out-door living museum. Those who are familiar with the New Testament will have a clearer...

We are pleased that we stopped for this venue. Though we were a bit rushed through parts of it because the village was being used for filming a movie, we still felt it definitely worth the visit. We were with a group, so we didn't get to explore as much as we would have liked.
We went there as independent travellers. We had to join a group to be able to enter. As the group came late we had to wait for 90 minutes. The things they show you in the village are interesting, but the tour was very short. We expected more for 50 nis a personen.
We visited the village without having a great idea of what it involved. Were really impressed with the whole thing from start to finish. You will get to see slightly different things depending on what time of year you visit. In early summer the wheat is harvested and threshed. In December the olives are harvested and pressed for their oil....

I went to Nazareth Village with my parents and younger sister (I'm a 13 year old girl) in December 2011, and I really enjoyed it. I was expecting it to be uninterested about the information, but we took a tour and the guy presented it in a really good way and it was very interested. Would recommended this to families...

A visit to this village is educational as it gives a taste of what it was like during Jesus' time, the condition and environment He grew up in. A very good understanding of how olive oil is processed, how wool weaving is done and what it is like to be a carpenter like Joseph and Jesus. We can also see...

The village is a great opportunity to see what life in Nazareth would have been like at the time of Christ. Here they have uncovered the ruins of a village of that time and they have built up some of the buildings and populated them with some actors to give a real feel for the times. Well worth a visit.
This amazing little village is put together with a lot of care and accuracy. This is a live and interactive museum allowing visitors to experience life in the first century B.C. Our knowledgeable tour guide took us around the village, explaining the various chores that one would have done in the first century. The conversation was great, as he (our...
