Granted...I didn't stay long (only a couple of nights), as I was doing a whirlwind tour of Israel, but this is likely where you'd find me. Visit it, and enjoy!

Tiberias - worthy of a visit to escape crowds - the tropical climate was very welcome as were the panoramic views. If you have the time I think there is more to find here.

I did not like Tiberias as much as other cities in Israel. To me it was quite shabby and dirty.

Tiberias with its front to the sea is a lovely vacation spot, but if you are trying to get somewhere else via the city, be very patient.

While Toberias has everything to be a great tourist city, its being wasted by half services and limited attractions, the view of the sea of Galilee is fantastic, but the fact of the beaches privatization (against Israeli Law) and the verry little to do in the city, require 2 to 3 hour drives to the Upper Galilee or the other... More

We stayed here for 5 days touring around independently and met some really lovely people. It is a really great place to visit. Along the promenade they have a light show which is on everynight. We loved the place.

I is dirty and unpleasent. There are many aother beautiful spots by the see of Galilee. This one is realy unnecessary.

There are so many hotels and spas in this area especially the one overlooking the Sea of Galilee. However, almost all the hotels need refurbishments.

Tiberias was a nice little town with friendly shop owners and close to the Gai Beach Hotel which made it nice.
