This palm forest was, for us, a highlight of our holiday BUT we had an amazing guide (Micheal whom we found outside the park offering tours). Without a guide a walk around the park would be very pleasant but you would really miss lots. We learnt in depth information about the flora and fauna of the park - yes it... More

Not particualry spectacular. It's on a small island and one has to bear this in mind. having said this, it is a pleasant walk in the green. You'll get to see the nature as it used to be before the european companies first, and the world tourists then, started flocking to the seychelles.

Remains a must do in Praslin, despite the high price of the ticket. Coco de Mer and the vegetation at large is definitely interesting, but can get boring after a while. Take the shortest itinerary and do it one your own.

a great walk in the nature. we were lucky to also see the black parrot (very rare) and lots of geckos. very nice experiance . the entry fee is a bit steep but i guess it is worth it for the sake of preserving this unique place .

Definitely a place that should be visited in the Seychelles to appreciate this unique species of coconut and the nature of a tropic rainforest.

Good guide with nice stories. Impressive to see the endemic coco-de-mer and the attention the local people give to that treasure they have.

Spent several hours in this mysterious palm forrest. Several different species, not only the unique coco de mer palm. An absolute must to see. Easy trail to walk. Possibility to buy a coconut at the visitor centre (approx 2.500 rupees). Nice cafeteria with good sandwiches after the trail.

I popped into the national park in the afternoon when the tour groups had largely left and there was just bird song or the rustling of the leaves in the breeze high above. This park is important as 50 percent of the income goes towards the Seychelles second UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Aldabra Atoll and helps also to keep... More
