Best anchorage and an empty beach first thing in the morning. Bliss!

The only lifeguard we saw, then learned it was where the shark attacks had been. Part of beach now cordoned off for swimming. Restaurant was good.

It is consider one of the best beaches in the world and it is totally deserved. Perfect sand and sea, with enough shadow to spend the day. There are shark nets - although personally I don't think it is necessary! There are 2 restaurants nearby and sufficient parking space.

the beach looks great white sand light blue water just like a post card. the truth is we did not stay here long ( a little spooky for me) one of the restaurants was closed the road to get there is bad but the views of the beach deserve everything. a must see

Anse Lazio did experience some very negative press in 2011 (two deadly shark attacks), however, it i s a great place to spend some 3 to 5 hours - swimming is fantastic, snorchelling is not exceptional, but the overall scenery is just a great experience.
