The Tanzanite Experience is a hybrid between a museum and a store. There are three parts to the experience. First, you go through a room or two of exhibits, primarily signs that tell you the history of Tanzanite. Second, you watch a video that is truly a fantastic exercise in the power of marketing. This place is brilliant to learn about the history of Tanzanite. I didn't have enought time to watch the videos that they have there. But just to walk around, look at the photos (and Tanzanite) was an experience. The stones were a little on the expensive, but well worth the look.
