we were not there long enough to really have an opinion about the place, but it was interesting, we saw the school, a few houses inside, the "babies hut".

We did a 2day/1night trek to Baan Lafu with the Mirror Art Fundation. We had a great guide which was the key to our trip. staying with the villagers and living in total immersion with the tribe was just awesome! Do it if you visit Chiang Rai, it's a Do-Not-miss thing to do!

My family (husband and three kids aged 11, 9 and 7) just had a great 3 day weekend visiting an Akha and Lahu village with our great guide 'Poo' from Natural Focus (email him on {--}). The host family in the Akha village were so friendly and took us on an exhausting hike up and down surrounding hills to view... More
