I love gardens and the Mae Fah Luang garden is absolutely lovely and amazing. The guide told me that winter and summer flowers are very different. I would love to visit again in summer, however, it is much nicer to admire and enjoy the garden in winter. Have coffee at Doi Tung Cafe inside the garden or outside the entrance.... more

I'm a 55 year old who has never been into gardens as such, until now. My wife and I spent several hours there and it was absolutely beautiful. We are returning to Chiang Mai in December 08 and will drive to Chiang Rai to visit this place again. Well worth the trip more
