If you've had enough of tacky, touristy night markets, this is the place to go. The lay out is warm, cozy and clean, creative wear and jewelry for sale and lots of local food on offer.

it's a nice small market but seems like it is made for tourists. I think the Night Market in Hoa Hin city centre is much better,more real and characteristic.Cicada market is not colored,not loud and noisy but very calm. Nice food.

This small weekend market is great! Food was delicious and inexpensive....lots to try! There are also lots of fantastic handmade items and unique art, not your usual fake / copy bags, etc here. A must visit if in Hua Hin for the weekend.

This small local market is clean, relaxed and had some of the most unique and high quality handmade items we've seen in Thailand. No rip off garbage or touts, just genuine stuff for fair prices. Lovely food area too. Definitely come Friday as we went Sunday and regret not being able to go again!

Cicada market has a nice food court and isn't as hectic as the other markets in Hua Hin. Also, the products here are unique at a good price. Well worth the visit.

DO spend an evening here. Great music, food fresh and great, coconut ice cream was fabulous. Atmosphere truly enjoyable.

The rest of the market has some interesting stores - but i have just brought back two DVDs to our hotel - both of which failed to play to the end - or had serious faults matching sound and picture. Given that i bought five in total and am yet to play the others - i am not hopeful. What... More
