I visited the park on a lovely Saturday. When I arrived, the trail was fairly empty and quiet. By the time I left, the park was completely packed with locals picnicking the afternoon away. The park is well-equip for visitors. There are many food and concession stands, changing rooms and toilets, and bamboo benches in the lower areas. Food is... more

We caught the local bus from the bus station for less than 100 Baht between us which drops us at the Visitors Centre. Note, you do have to pay a "Foreign" fee for entering the park of 100 baht each (as opposed to locals who pay 20 baht). Take your water bottles and the hike can get quite steep and... more

We went to the Erawan Waterfalls as part of our 3 day tour. We arrived about 9.30am on a Sunday morning. Local Thais were picnicking and swimming at the lower levels. I was really looking forward to our visit here and it really lived up to my expectations. The 7 tiers are all beautiful and the walk up is well... more

We feel so relaxed hearing the soothing sound of the waterfall. There are monkeys, small snails and even trees with colourful cloth (according to our tour guide, the... more

From Kanchanaburi at taxi cost around $25 so instead we took the bus which was busy and not much fun but at $1 each way was a massive saving! The waterfalls are beautiful. The water is turquiose and they are definitely nicer than... more

We got to visit Erawan National Park during a day tour. This is one of few places in Thailand that is looked after. No rubbish which is lovely. We took a long hike up to the 7th level and it was very much worth it. If you have small children make sure that you have good footwear on as it... more

We visited Erawan Waterfall as part of a tour package. We arrived about 9 in the morning and hiked up all 7 levels and back down by noon. We stopped at level 4 for a quick dip in the water. It was beautiful - I have never seen anything like it. I was amazed at how many butterflies there are... more
