Bit of walk in to the main falls but worth the visit. Clear cool water to bathe in after a hot day in Kanchanaburi.

Well worth a visit if you are already on the deatg railway, great way to cool down and refresh yourself in the pools at the bottom of the waterfall, also not very touristy, mainly thai kids playing in the water. easy to get to from nam tok train station, tuk tuks outside station when you arrive charging 10 baht per... Very pretty and clean. Lots of families visiting when we were there. Good choice of food stores opposite the entrance to buy traditional snacks.

If you're there, hot and have a bathing suit on hand its worth dropping in and cooling off. Don't go out of your way for it though. The waterfall is really quite slow and unspectacular, the park is fairly small unless you have the time to hike 2kms to the cave up the mountain. There is one shallow pool under... More

Thai parks are not set up for hikers, Thais seem to prefer the main spaces for eating and playing in the waterfall. For a hiker the trails are short and not well marked.

I visited the Sai Yok National Park with my fiance whilst in the Kanchanaburi area and can thoroughly recommend it. The scenery is breath-taking, the waterfalls beautiful, and it made my day, being one of the few attractions in Kanchanaburi that wasn't exploiting either animals or tourists for their cash! A natural, beautiful, lovely day out, with some great hikes... More

Stopping at the Sai Yok waterfall was part of a day long tour we had booked - and frankly we had never heard of it before. It was on the same road back down from the Hellfire Pass Museum and literally this amazing waterfall on the side of the road with the National Park behind it. We would never had... More
