Built and designed out of love, in a period of opulence, and then deserted when death broke the owner's heart; Boldt Castle is well on its way to completion based on the original plans. A delight to tour, and the highlight of any visit to the region.

What a massive undertaking this building is. Alot of work needs to be done. It was a wonderful weekend. You gotta come to the Boldt Castle when you come to Alexandria Bay.

The castle is magnificent and I can only imagine what it might have been like, had it been finished. A six story, 120 room castle, complete with tunnels, a powerhouse, an indoor pool, Italian gardens, a drawbridge, alster tower (children’s playhouse) a dove cote and a yacht house abandoned for more than 70 years. Never ceases to amaze me that we have a castle of this stature so close to home. Every year there is some improvement or something new to see.

Boring really and the same old story of lost love.Not too historic after seeing europe

Took the Boat out there, and took the tour!! It was alot of fun, on a nice summer day!!

I found the history of the castle very interesting. Lovely place to visit among the Thousand Islands.

Enjoyable way to spend a day exploring how the rich lived in days past.

It's a great place to spend day outside. You can go and stay as long as you like. Bring a lunch and enjoy the day on the water with the wonderful sights.
