If you like to be harassed, attacked and held hostage until you spend money then this is the place. They are all your waiters, chefs etc of your hotel as soon as you exit your taxi! Nightmare of a place never again.

I thought Egypt was bad but every second you were hassled. Even when you politely said 'no thank you' you were followed and hassled.

If you want hand-made made-to-measure leather garments in exactly the combination of design/length/colour you want then go here. Haggling for a good price is a bit of hard work but should be seen as part of the experience. I wouldn't recommend commencing any haggling unless you are really serious and want to buy something as expensive as this.

The medina was just a 10 minute walk from our hotel, and was deffinatly worth it! the boats are wonderful to look at and the water was so clear you could see all the little fish! There are plenty of bars and restaurants to enjoy a drink or bite to eat in the sunshine! Shops are also along the medina... More
