The entry was fee was 10 lira,It was a good few hrs spent, had a walk round and imagining myself back in time,lol.It was good to have a break from all the walking with a drink at 1 of the cafes,did some herb picking which i took back to the hotel and dried in the sun daily.

+ Opportunity to enjoy sights of Alanya on the way to castle, - Hard way on foot to castle but enjoyable :)

be careful with the ruins its a bit dangerous definitely wear comfortable shoes/ sandals. a bit tiring but the views are definitely worth it

It is a taxi ride up to the castle as it is way too far to walk and then the castle is just ruins. Bodrum castle was 100 times better

Was a lovely walk up but make sure you go on a cooler day as its pretty hard going, views are worth it at the top

Really nice as a day excursion, for both family and friens. The view is beautiful. I will recommend to take a taxi, as the road up is very long. If you fancy some walking, then you can walk down :)

Not my type of thing and I didn't like the local trying to sell me rubbish that I didn't need... But if you like castle and stuff like that, then this might be for you.

We had a great day at the Castle and enjoyed it a lot. Taxi from near the Hotel and walked back down to the town. If you want to do this ask the driver for one way only (they charge for both ways and wait). Good to time it so you start walking back down about lunch time, as there... More

Nice visit great to see recommend getting taxi to top as long walk only cost 15 tl views beautiful, few little stalls at top near castle these were extremely cheap
