Well laid out and maintained, also well lit at night, so good to walk to.
Nice view, and a historic place. If you want a good scenery thou - just go up the hill to the castle. MUCH better views.. and for free.
The tower is well preserved and can be easily visited in 10 minutes, but you should reserve some time for photos from the top. It offers a nice view over the entire harbor, city and even the uphill castle. The inside of the tower is an art gallery with paintings and small boat replicas.

I liked the red tower even though it's not much compared to the rest of Turkey's sites. It too offered a nice view of the sea and we enjoyed climbing the winding steps to the top floor. It is empty inside though, except for some interesting wooden doors leaned against one wall. Allow 30 minutes here
