Jaw-dropping spectacle just a few miles from the Hemmera resort. One moment you are in the busy shopping arcades and the suddenly, wow, fanbtastic ruins. Words fail me describing the beauty of this place.

This was absolutely beautiful and breathtaking... got some great kodak moments! Incredibly glad that we took the 20 minute walk from the beach all the way down the promenade to see this... no amount of boat rides and driving past it will make you see how amazing it is until you are standing right next to it. Must see!

In a beautiful setting on a headland with the sea as a back ground. Like monasteries centuries later it gave the temple a very special atmosphere.

The Temple seems to be the main attraction in Side and it is certainly a great photo with the white marble against the blue Med. However, it is swarming with tourists and there actually isn't anything much to see. A two minute photo opportunity but not much else. There is much more to see in Side that is more interesting... Quite impressive but slightly spoiled for me by the 'acrobat' who offered to take our photo then procedeed to 'entertain' him with his football skills. I gave him 1 lira to get rid of him and he had the cheek to complain!

Had no preconceived notions of what this place would be like so were pleased to find it inexpensive and well excavated. It is a small temple compared to the monster at Efes, but we basically had the place to ourselves and it was amazing to see. Well worth the trip.

The remains of this antique temple are so impressive, monumental and beautifully located right on the sea. Even the parts of it scattered around are really beautiful. Anyone having a vacation in this region should see it, I feel.
