I had the chance a few weeks ago to re-visit this lovely historical site with a couple of friends on a day trip from Antalya..The ruins of the Apollo Temple are located in or near to the harbor of Side, which is located in the province of Antalya, Turkey about 1 hour’s drive east ( 55 km or 34 miles)... more

The Temple of Apollo is situated a five minute walk to the left of the Harbour , jutting out slightly onto a promintory.Origionally there were two temples , The Temple that remains standing , majestically meeting the Ocean is the Temple of Apollo . Built in the second half of the 2nd cenrury A.D. and consisting entirely of marble .... more
