This was a fantastic tour with lots of information, don't think I would fancy it too much in the summer due to the soaring heat but we were lucky to have sunny but not too hot! So much information and so many facts! People have to do this tour when they are in Turkey :)

Don't miss Efes, an archeological site. The library is definitely the highlight. Of course there is more to see, like the amphitheatre. You can also visit the terracehouses (entrance fee), where you can see how people lived. There are still mozaics on the floor. You can get to Efes by taking a dolmus from the Kusadasi or Selcuk dolmusstation. Take... More

A must see to see a 2000 year old city. Absolutely fantastic. Please go early to avoid tourist traffic.

Ephesus is somewhere I have always wanted to visit and so I went there in April and it was awesome. This beautiful city was built by Greeks, Romans Jews, Christians and all other conquerers for hundreds of years and the craftsmanship of the men who buit it, has to be seen to be believed. The preservation of this world heritage... More

Ephesus - it was great! we did not go with Thomas Cook or any other travel agent for that matter. We got a dolmus (Kusadasi - Efes, not number 1) and than short horse and carriage ride (only cause we fancied it :) to main gate. Where dolmus drops you off you walk about 10 minutes to bottom gate. Taxi... More

On last day of holiday was going to give this a miss and stay by the pool but very glad I didn't. The site is huge and you get a real feeling for the layout of this ancient town, something I haven't experienced in other ruins. Very easy to get there by Dolmus from Kusadasi.
