This mosque was under construction when we visited but we still enjoyed going there nonetheless.

The Green Mosque´s interior and some of the area outside is currently undergoing restoration (December 2011), but the quality of the building and the site is still captivating; lots of photo opportunities. Near Yeşil Türbe, Green Mosque is also quite famous with its marvelous tiles. Its impressiveness is less visible outside and more striking inside.
