This mosque was under construction when we visited but we still enjoyed going there nonetheless.

The Green Mosque´s interior and some of the area outside is currently undergoing restoration (December 2011), but the quality of the building and the site is still captivating; lots of photo opportunities. It is situated in nice surroundings with restored houses, antique shops and outdoor cafes, and I´d definitely recommend a visit there, combined with the free Museum of Islamic...

Near Yeşil Türbe, Green Mosque is also quite famous with its marvelous tiles. Its impressiveness is less visible outside and more striking inside.
