This is the superbowl of the ancient world! It is a well preserved ancient complex that is well worth the visit.

It iis classical theater representing Greek and Roman culture. It is considered an important biblical site. It is well preserved and still in use for events and festivals.
Dont miss the old theater and it's fabulous acoustics
when u enter the ruins of Ephesus you will pass this place.. it is good to see.. you should imagine how they use to use this place.. different fights use to take place.. different throne ceremonies use to take place in ancient roman and pegan times.. so imagining and seeing a historical place is always good..
We enjoyed seeing this theatre but I liked the theatre at Pamukkale more. Good view
Beautifully well preserved Roman Amphitheater built into the mountainside, Incredible accoustics!! Seated thousands. Amazing.
When I was there, someone actually played a song in the theater and we could hear the song from a distance, away from the theater. they even have a tunnel for latecomers to enter through!
If you like Historical ruins you must see Apollon temple (didiyma) miletus and priene in 1 day next day you can visit ephesus and Meryem ana, and another day you can visit the sirince and the museum in seljuk(selcuk)
