Distinctive look - interesting displays. Good - but pricey gift shop.

It was a great place to get insight into the history of the Mevlana, sad about not being able to take photos in certain areas

We dropped by on a Sunday. Was very busy. I would suggest attending mid week.

Well worth the effort. It's a magnificent museum and the entrance fee is very reasonable. Take your time and wander around each section, soak up the different skills and talents on display. Try to visit on Saurday night when the Dervish will perform.

Although I didnt understand everything in this mystical museum the power of Rumi's story is evident in the faith of the visitors to this place.

Knowing very little about Rumi prior to my visit to Konya, I found the Mevlana museum exceptionally helpful in understanding his teachings and the dervishes. The courtyard layout and displays we're well done with just enough amount of detail

I went there with an organised trip from Ankara to Konya, it took around 3 hours... it was in December 2012, the day of Mevlana celebration... the show was amazing, the music and dance... a nice sufi experience... The Museum itself is ok, the most important is the celebration in that area... very spiritual experience...

The view of the tumb of Mevlana is spectacular. The calligraphy on the walls, the colors are beautiful. If you are in Konya, this is one attraction not too miss.

Mevlana Jelaladin Rumi wrote some of the most beautiful poetry ever made but his mausoleum is a bit too crowded to enjoy meditation on his life or work. At 3 TL it's worth seeing but probably not worth traveling to Konya for if that is your only reason

When I decided to stop in Konya to visit the Mevlana Museum, I just couldn't imagine how much I was going to enjoy it. I went to discover more about Rumi and was pleasantly surprised by all the information displayed. The mausoleum was also very impressive. Definitely a must.
