We have been coming here for 8 years and although holiday in other countries as well we can not wait to come back to calis beach each year. We have stayed in hotels but now prefer to stay in a villa and have rented the same lovely villa for the past 6 years. Calis Beach is friendly, relaxed, cheap (in... More

The beach is stoney and near the main bars the umbrellas and sunloungers you have to pay for, but the cushions are provided by the bar you wish to get your food and drink from. The Nil bar is a popular spot and the service on the beach second to none.

A great promenade to walk along but it is a bit tedious when the restaurants are continually pestering you to eat. There are some lovely places to eat along the front. We particularly liked the Italian restaurant where service was excellent without the hassle. The water was a bit cloudy so we didn't swim there. Turtles come ashore to lay their... More

If you have to go to Turkey in the summer heat, especially with young children, then this is the ideal place. There is a lovely breeze all day so you don't melt as in other resorts. Beach not great but nice atmosphere in the evening with variety of decent restaurants and bars but no real clubs so no problems to... More

There's lots of restaurants and bars near the sea front and around the surrounding roads. Joseph's cocktail bar and Mangal restaurant are all great places to eat/drink!

Quiet, peaceful but full of things to do like horse riding, paragliding, swimming, shopping and so much more. They have their own market and it is on a Sunday which is a good day out too :)

What a stunning setting for anytime of day - but especially so in the evening for the magnificent sunsets. The beach is 4 kms long & a mixture of sand at one end & pebbles at the other. Loggerhead Turtles come to nest here in May /June so the more gentle beach activities & watersports are encouraged - no jetskis... More
