Took the ferry from Marmaris. Took about half an hour and cost 10 lira. Good value as the breeze is lovely and seeing the coastline from off shore is interesting. Nice small clean beach. Lovely walk up to the foothills through the town. Locals happy to chat. Caught bus back without any problem

We stayed in Marmaris but the beach there was very small and gravelly, and the sea not really suitable for swimming in. Much more worthwhile to take the lovely walk along the sea front to Icmeler and use the beaches there.
