This monument to a traditional Ukrainian food – Galushka [kind of dumplings that Poltava is especially famous for] – must be one of the most controversial in the city.
It was officially opened on April 1 (2006), known as April Fool Day, and has initially been established on Soborna (Cathedral) Square, close to the recently restored Assumption Cathedral. Its opening...
