If you are visiting for the day, it's worth spending an hour here. Tells the story of Al Ain, which was a very important trading town. A half hour film, if somewhat dated, tells the story of its copper industry and how it was involved in many battles of occupation.

This is a really nice museum that is almost unknown in the city of Al Ain. Our taxi driver, who had lived in the city for 4 years, had only heard of the Palace Museum. There is a huge number of prehistoric artifacts.

We have been well inspired to visit Al Ain National museum, after visiting Al Jahli Fort and Al Ain Oasis. The museum presentations are well organised and the topics are well displayed. The architecture and emirati private + public life are extremely interesting. It helps understand and appreciate the country and its people even better. A nice visit indeed.

Not a lot to see, but I just enjoyed the clean, low pressure environment. I was early and the only visitor to I could leisurely view the exhibits. I was greeted with the traditional dates and arab coffee at no cost. Not high tech or glitz - low key and nice.

I stumbled on this after walking in Al AIn Oasis, only wanted to use their bathroom! But spent a few hours in this small but immaculate and well resourced museum. Interesting video plays about Al AIn and its history. Well worth an hour of your life.

It is a good place to go to see the history of the area, heavy on archeology. There is one area that displays gifts from leaders around the world, which is quite interesting.

It's definitely worth a visit to view the historical references and history of this relatively new country. Have a walk through the oasis afterwards as well!

A good spread of experience and a wealth of the ancient skills of artisans in gold and weapons.
