This is one of the few places that offers a "Western" atmosphere here in Al Ain. As good as the cultural experience is in Al Ain, there are times when you need to unwind with like minded people. The Palm Resort offers this in the form of a Rugby Club, a Shooting Club, a Golf Club, and an Equestrian Club.

18 hole golf course surrounding the horse race track and stadium.Great resturant/bar with daily happy hours and varied menu choice plus stone grill. Kids play area located below the decking area. Would definately return here.

The Rugby Club and Gold Club are two of my regular places to visit on the weekend. They are brilliant for families, eating out or activities. Every week they have events for the family and on a Friday the rugby is on and you can sit in the stadium and watch the game.

Well kept 18 Hole championship course (the only full grass course in Al Ain) with additional 9 hole par 3 layout. Clubhouse with full facilities and good restaurant with full bar facilities. Green fees cheap by Dubai standards although more expensive than public courses in many other countries. Also equestrian, shooting facilities, and rugby playing fields, clubhouse and bar.

My comment is specifically directed towards the restaurants at Palm Sports Resort. I've eaten in two different restaurants there, on several different occasions for each meal from breakfast to dinner, and the food has been uniformly horrible. We played the Al Ain open hosted at the Palm Sports Resort last weekend, it was wonderfully well organised by the staff there, and we met a great group of friendly golfers that are members welcomed us warmly to their club. The 18 hole course is deceptively difficult and a challenge to most golfers
