A very beautiful museum with a variety of Islamic culture and civilization arts and artifacts. A museum worth visiting.

An excellent centre for educating non-Muslims and Muslims about Islam and Islamic history. No expense has been spared in building this centre. Very educational.. Shame there aren't many signs in the locality to direct you to the centre. The locals are oblivious to where it is! Some of the inscriptions of the artefacts could have been translated.
This museum is a great place to learn about the Islamic religion, as well as the cultures where it is predominantly practiced. The museum covered everything, from the process and symbolism behind the Haj to the importance of geometry in art. There are several interactive displays, and the whole place is decorated beautifully.
I can't say I'd take an extra...

This Museum looks like a mix of Museum of Islamic Technology in Istanbul (when it comes to presenting the achievements of Islamic scientists - however on a smaller scale than in the Istanbul one) and Institut de Monde Arabe in Paris (when it comes to Islamic art - the collection is similar in size to Paris counterpart), with an added...

Spent lots of time in the Islam area, learning about the pilgrimage and seeing intricately illustrated Qu'rans on display. Also enjoyed the science area. Rested our legs in the comfy lounge under the constellation dome before tackling the second floor galleries. Grabbed a quick lunch at the cafe, which was handy.
it's better place for your kids. I recommend 3 place to visit if your kids having the scientist Dream:
(1) This musium in sharjah: learning the basic foundation of light and time measurement, navigation, astronomy, medicine, chemist, etc.
(2) Prague National Museum, there's section for CVUT prague tech university show us the nobelist pattern mostly medicine.

We intended to spend an hour or so but instead spent the entire day in this glorious museum!! Excellently curated, and with explanations that were lucid and illuminating. The Science exhibit on the first floor was remarkable! Really exhilarating! The building itself is welcoming and there's a cafe with light meals. Also the staff is very helpful.
This is an outstanding museum, full of artifacts, manuscripts and all manner of art relating to the history of Islam.
While my wife and I have only a passing interest in Islam, we do have a passion for beautiful historic artifacts and this museum houses some of the best and well presented items we have ever seen.
The museum shows...
