This place is on the Dhaid road away from the hustle and bustle of Dubai and Sharjah. It is an amazing place which explains the evolution of the planet and specifically the desert region. The concepts put together are excellent and one of the best places to visit on a weekend.

Superb museum with plenty of information and interactive exhibits. Ideal for families with young children, but informative enough for adults looking for a day trip (well, half a day at least). Excellent value for money. Closed all day Tuesdays, and Friday mornings 'til 2pm.

It is sad that the photo attached to this review shows hos so many people spoil the desert but the Desert Museum is a good place to learn about the true riches of deserts, the plants, the animals and the way the people learned to live with its extremes

I have visited twice with my family. The arrangements they made in the park is really appreciable. We enjoyed it.

Great outdoor and kids love this place. Not so far from sharjah on airport road, a weekend can be spend here.
