beautiful and well worth it in the old part of the city. Make sure you don't get stuck up there as only one person can climb the stairs at a time!
Nothing from other world to see here, an old lightouse with long stairs, no elevator. Panoramic view from the top and middle rest.
We went on the day trip to Colonia. People thinking of going should be aware that the Sea Cat is the same ferry as the Buquebus but costs way less. We paid $180.00 Argentinian pesos each and literally sat next to another couple that paid $400.00 Argentinian pesos for the SAME TRIP!!

Lost my hat in a sudden gust of wind but it was worth it to see the Rio de la Plata all the way to Buenos Aires and the Burquebus sailing in, not to mention the vistas of Colonia.
enjoyed the views from the lighthouse and the price was very reasonable.
As I have a sail boat, very often we cross de Río de la Plata and stay in Colonia o Riachuelo for long weekends. Is a beautifull place for rest and walk.
A very interesting site, built on an old convent. Worth the few pesos to climb up and get a great view of Colonia and across to BA in Argentina
Although it was a cloudy day so we couldn't see BA, it was worth climbing to the top for the fun of it.
Even if you do not make it to the very top, from the landing halfway up you can enjoy a nice 360º view of the town and the river.
