The Nagoya City Archives is located in what was originally a court house, built in 1922. Indeed some period court rooms are still open, with manequins standing in "on trial". The court house is a lovely Tasho-era (1912 ~ 1926) building, when European "flavor" was popular, similar to the prefectural and city hall buildings nearby. Entrance is free.
