it is great to spend some time in this street. You will enjoy Japanese history and traditional buildings and cultures.
If you are looking for a place to eat, go to this street. Lots of variety and reasonable prices in most places.
Our ryokan was just past this historic area in Narita, so my husband and I walked through this length of buildings several times a day during our stay. Very lively street, even 5 weeks after the tsunami. We ate at several locations on this street and also ended up buying souvenirs at one of the shops on our way out...

Wonderful street with lots of traditional shops and food. Craft shops selling traditional goods and great foods. Walk from the station (JR or Keisei) all the way to Narita San temple (about 10 - 15 mins walk). The temple is also wonderful (see my review of it). We really enjoyed our long layover in Narita by getting out of the airport for a little while! Narita City is just a couple of stops away on the Keisei train and Omotesando begins just outside the station exit. (follow the McDonald's signs around the corner and you'll find it) Best to leave any luggages or backpacks at the airport...

It's a little hard to think of a street as an attraction, but there is alot to see and do on Omotesando. If you go do Shinshoji Temple (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!), you will walk down this street.
