Not much in the way of English spoken or written here. had to pay to put our bags in a locker, but had difficulty getting change from the attendants. very hard to work out what it is your looking at , as there is no English translations.

Rather specialist museum of ShoDo 書道. A bit specialist but all of high quality.
We spent a good hour wandering around the calligraphy museum, but I would say it's only worth doing if you already happen to be in the Temple grounds and Gardens ... not worth a special trip, unless this is of particular interest to you. The calligraphy is well displayed and the museum has enough space, so you don't feel rushed.
